Hi Thud afficionado! Welcome to the Klash! page.
You arrived here because you like, or are interested in, yet another version of Thud! playing called Klash!. Klash! was introduced on may 21, 2007. According to Trevor Truran, the man who thought up all these games, Klash! is a quick variation on Regular Thud that should take about 15 minutes. Unlike KVT it is double sided like Thud!, which means that both players get a go at dwarfs and Trolls respectively.
If you'd like to read the rules first, I've got a pdf with diagrams provided by Trevor by way of SANEAlex. I'll remember to say "thank you" to both on your behalf.
SANEAlex also came up with this setup for ThudBoard. You will need this if you want to play Klash! on your ThudBoard application.
With many thanks to FlorisXIV, I can offer you this Klash Board (GIF) for download. FlorisXIV made a board without the outer rim of squares of original Thud Board, but with six remaining sqaures to put your Trolls in according to SANEAlex' ThudBoard setup (see above).
And to make things more interesting, one last remark: Mc challenged me to come up with a new Klash! skin for his ThudBoard. Huh, I don't do that anymore! I provide a place for other people to show their efforts to the world! Tssss.... ;-)
So here's the challenge: start up your Gimp, your PS, or any other image editor of your choice right now, and be the first to submit a new Klash! skin for ThudBoard. First one to submit gets a nice JPG display of his/her/its Skin on this page, and his/her/its name in CAPITALS with a link of your choice (provided it's decent enough, family- environmental- Troll- dwarf- friendly and free of any CMOT Dibbler, Dibblah, or Dj'bluhs). All others get the CAPITALS and link as well. This challenge ends whatchamasay erhm... sometime this summer.
